저는 식전에 차를 내어주는

중화요리집을 좋아합니다.

입맛을 돋우며

기름진 요리와 잘 어울리죠.

그리고,

생양파나 단무지 보다는

오도독 씹히는

짜사이를 좋아합니다.

내일 점심은

취팔선객잔이라는 곳에서

해물짬뽕 한그릇 해야겠네요~ ㅋ

I had lunch with my friends in Jeonju after a long time.
나는 전주에 있는 내 친구들과 점심을 먹었다. 오랜시간 뒤에

My wife and kids came along too.
내 와이프와 아이들도 함께 갔다.

My kids are around the same age, so our families used to meet up often.
내 아이들은 같은 나이 쯤이다. 그래서 우리 가족들은 종종 만나곤 했다.

I used to have so many friends in Jeonju that it was hard to pick a place to meet.
나는 한 때 많은 친구들을 전주에서 가져서 만날 장소를 정하는데 어려웠다.

But most of them have moved to Seoul, so now only five friends are left in Jeonju.
그러나 그들의 대부분이 서울로 이사했다. 그래서 지금 오직 다섯 친구들만이 전주에 남겨졌다.

And one of them is moving to Busan in March, so today’s lunch also became a farewell party.
그리고 그들 중 하나는 3월에 부산으로 이사할거다. 그래서 오늘 점심 또한 작별 파티가 되었다.

It felt a bit sad realizing that fewer and fewer people are around.
약간 슬펐다. 깨닫는 것이 더 적은 사람들이 주위에 있다는 것을

But I decided to meet up more often with the friends who are still there.

I had lunch with my friends in Jeonju after a long time, and my wife and kids came along too. Since our kids are around the same age, our families used to meet up pretty often. Back in the day, I had so many friends in Jeonju that just picking a place to meet was a struggle. But now, most of them have moved to Seoul, and only five friends are still here. And actually, one of them is moving to Busan in March, so today’s lunch kind of turned into a farewell party too. It was kinda sad, you know, realizing that there are fewer and fewer people around. Honestly, I’m starting to feel like I might end up being the only one left in Jeonju. But yeah, I figured I should try to meet up more often with the friends who are still here.
